Newlands is a fictional country and identically named archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, created as background for the science fiction books of the “Perception” series. Of necessity, all pictures (drawings, sketches, plans) on this website, showing geographical locations, cities, buildings, vehicles, ships, planes etc. were borrowed from such objects already existing somewhere else, usually photoshopped to represent described Newlands reality. Likewise, the photos of people used on the website represent individuals existing in realities other than Newlands.

Perception novels are an invented story about the lost realm of Atlantis and a modern-day archipelago risen from the ocean depth in its place. It comprises fictitious weaponry, paranormal abilities, homosexuality, polyamory, and alternate social and family structures, as well as direct democracy. Those cringing at their mentioning, or not willing to contemplate such ideas, need not linger on this website. This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, and incidents are either products of author’s imagination, or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events, is purely coincidental.
